Chemo Cancelled

Sandi's blood work indicated that her platelet count was way too low for chemo. Everything that was planned for today and tomorrow has been cancelled and moved back to Thursday and Friday. So, we ran a couple of errands and are now home.

Sorry to hear that. Hope that she will be tested again soon so that she can start back on it.

As I said--everything is pushed back to Thursday and Friday. Basically, we wait 48 hours and try again. I think more likely we will have to wait till next Tuesday, but they want to try again this Thursday.

This has happened before and is a minor hiccup though it has not happened with this particular chemo regimen before.
