I read A Fan's Notes so many years ago I don't remember much about it except that the narrator was a Frank Gifford fan. As a Philadelphia Eagles (or Iggles, if you're from the area) fan, I've hated the New York Giants more than any other team in pro football (yes, even more than Dallas) since I was a kid, so I was never especially fond of Gifford.
