Sons of Anarchy: Season One

One can only take so much daytime TV. I never was a fan of the court shows and with CITIBANK and Allen Adkins & Associates still sueing me, the last thing I want to watch is a court show. Watching the sad train wrecks of paternity tests gets old quick. Now and then I can get a movie or series from my local library.

Such was the case when Sons of Anarchy: Season One popped up for me.

Netflix Description:

Charlie Hunnam stars in this gritty drama series as Jax Teller, VP of the Sons of Anarchy, a gun-running motorcycle club that seizes control of its California town but soon butts heads with rival biker gangs, racist groups and the law. As the renegade bikers descend further into bedlam, Jax finds his conscience torn between protecting his young son from harm and his loyalty to his gang and his own violent parents (Katey Sagal and Ron Perlman).

Jax is a very complicated character and Katy Sagal is far different in this than the role she played on "Married With Children." All I can tell you is that it is good stuff and worth your time.

I watched one season but it was too gritty for me. My son and d-i-l love it.

The Netflix series I really enjoyed was The Guardian.

I never watched the movie THE GUARDIAN. From the previews and reviews, it looked to be depressing with Costner dead at the end.
