Best Reads--2011

In no particular order, below is the list I put together for one of the reader groups I am involved with online. Clearly, it reflects my primary interest in crime/mystery fiction. In no particular order:

“The End of Everything” by Megan Abbot
“Deadly Currents: A RM Outdoors Adventures Mystery” by Beth Groundwater
“Dead Even: A River City Crime Anthology” by Frank Zafiro
“And Every Man Has To Die” by Frank Zafiro
“Inhuman Condition: Tales of Mystery & Suspense” by Kate Thornton
“Nights of the Red Moon” by Milton T. Burton
“A Patchwork of Stories: 9 Tales from Sunny Side Up to Over Hard” by Kaye George
“Double Prey: The Posadas County Mysteries” by Steven F. Havill
“Breaking Silence” by Linda Castillo
“The Wild Hog Murders: A Dan Rhodes Mystery” by Bill Crider
“The Last Call: A Bill Travis Mystery” by George Wier
“The Perfect Defective: a novella” by Clark Casey

Lots of good reading there that came via my library and direct from authors.

Hope you try one or more and agree that these are good books.

Especially heartwarming to see short story collections on the list.
