Just letting people know I'm giving away a Kindle story
today. It's a Precinct Puerto Rico short story called "The Valley of
Angustias." It's set in 1964 in the hills of Puerto Rico, and my series
protag is just out of college (instead of the more mature sheriff he'll become
in the novels).
