48 hours plus after Sandi had her biopsy, she is doing very well. She has been pain free since she woke up yesterday with no sign of infection. She has had a lot of biopsies in recent years and this one may be her best on ever as how it went and afterwards.
On the cold front, Scott and I continue to wage war on our respective beachheads. Thanks to heavy artillery support through over the counter meds, Scott is making major progress. I am still not getting anywhere in my own battle, but am nearly at the same point in time when Scott started getting better. Hopefully, I am about to finally start getting better as well.
Though the Longhorns and then later this afternoon the Rangers made me sick in a totally different way.....
Glad to learn Sandi is doing well, and that Scott is improving and you're recovery is moving that direction.
ReplyDeleteThank you, Terry. All the same here except the fact Sandi now has a bit of a sore throat. We are all hoping that it is nothing more than the usual transient one gets from time to time and not a sign she is getting sick with our mess.
ReplyDeleteGot your letter yesterday. Thank you
Hope that the sore throat doesn't make her weaker immune wide. Do they ever give her antibiotics as a precaution?
ReplyDeleteShe is on at least one of four antibiotics all the time. They stop and start the others as they feel necessary based on blood tests. I alerted the doctor to what was happening with us last week so they added a second antibiotic to the mix.
ReplyDeleteHopefully this is all a false alarm. She is highly sensitive to ragweed which can cause the same symptoms and that has been high here the last couple of days.
