This is true. I don't see anything stopping them from cutting things once they really dominate the market. I don't know if I would make anything going Kindle Unlimited, but the idea that it has to be exclusive bugs me as many folks don't deal with Amazon. I don't want to lose that potential readership.

Although the author (owner of Smashwords) has reason to be against Amazon's success, what he says rings true on many levels.
