The 2012 Anthony Award Nominees:


Of these I have read two in the Best Novel category----THE END OF EVERYTHING by Megan Abbott and THE DROP by Michael Connelly. Two very different books in every way possible. So much so that, in my opinion, they don’t remotely belong in the same category going up against each other.

I have in my TBR pile HURT MACHINE by Reed Coleman. I have heard that cancer is a major part of the book and quite frankly, with what we have just been through here the last eight months, reading a novel with cancer in it is not something I can handle right now.
