Mary Robinette Kowal: Sometimes Writers Block is really Depression
Personal Note: Chuck Wendig had a twitter thread this morning about writers block and depression. In the replies, the piece below came up with some suggestions on how to cope. As one who has been medicated for depression in the past and has permanent heart damage caused by the same drug mentioned in the piece, I am not a big fan of meds. I have always been depressed and no longer expect to be any other way. There are other suggestions in the piece beyond medication and that is why I am sharing the piece. Also sharing because I know what the major issue is for me---grief.
