Years ago I used to play competitively and entered a few tournaments over the years until the boys came along and changed my priories. At my last assignment with the school district, not only was I  looking into playing competitively again, I was trying to gain permission to create a chess club for the kids. Unfortunately, even though I was on staff since I was a teacher assistant permission was denied. Then I got sick and that was that.
