Please Help If You Can

It has been a brutal month money wise. Not just with the groceries that is hitting all of us. Been a bunch of car expense stuff as well as medical bills. Things are not good and I am not built to be an OnlyFans model.

So, if you like what we do at Kevin's Corner, please consider making a donation through the PayPal widget on the left side of the blog. We could really use the help.

Please and thank you.

We Desperately Need Your Help!

Desperate times here as we are way past due on everything including the phone bill and the power bill. There are prescriptions that urgently need to be refilled. We have to pay our renters insurance (failure to do so gets one evicted immediately) and pay our car insurance.

In short, we are in a world of trouble. Our rent is due on the 1st and we will be paying late again on the third and using everything in our Social Security Disability payments and a little more in the bank to cover that. But, we have no way to pay the other bills due.

If you can help and want to please consider making a donation over at the PayPal widget over on the left side of the blog.  I hate begging for your help, but we really truly need it. Anything helps.... if you can.

Lap Quilts and More Via Sandi

I am often told that we should consider applying for food stamps and Medicaid. We do and have though it is a complete waste of time. Because of Texas rules on food stamps and Medicaid, they only look at your income. Social Security Disability is counted as income and our combined SSD of just over $1500 means that we exceed the limit by $15.00. Texas does NOT take into consideration that our rent is $1500, over what we spend in medicines each month for her (let alone the rest of us), power bill, etc. What Sandi gets from sales of her crafts, and what we receive in donations from wonderful people, is how we are surviving here. That's it.

In recent days Sandi has been strong enough to finish a couple of things and now has them ready for sale. Funds raised from selling these things goes to putting food on the table, medicines, etc. so please know that buying something helps us lot.

Please ignore the date/time stamp on the first few pictures as something went haywire with her old camera.

As you see to the right and below, first up is her latest lap quilt which measures 44x43 inches. The interior consists of four squares of various colors with an outer border of yellow. Asking price is $50 which includes the usual $9.00 non priority shipping by way of the post office. (If you prefer UPS shipping that can be easily done though we do not know what that would cost.)

Also she has finished this walker caddy. A walker caddy attaches to the walker by way of the top loops making it possible for the user to bring along with him or her, a book, television remote, eyeglasses, etc., while leaving the hands free to hold on to the walker.

These go for $10 and that includes the usual $4.00 non priority shipping.

While those are her latest efforts she still has a number of items available that were mentioned here at the end of January. The price listed includes the same non priority shipping by way of the post office. They include....

$45  35x42 with Maroon border

$45  32x46 Double Blue

$50   44x44 Green with Maroon border

And this walker caddy in her "winter colors" and sells for $10

Of course, she has plenty of  other items over at her iOffer store, but there are far too many to list here.

Hopefully you see something you like in these. If you have any questions, please ask in the comment section here or drop me a note at kevinrtipple AT Verizon.net  And, if you don’t want to make a purchase, but would like to make a donation please use the PayPal widget to your left. Anything and everything helps and is very much appreciated.

Please share this post with your friends and family who might be looking for personal handmade gifts. Thank you!

Sandi’s Latest Projects

While her store is still up at iOffer Sandi is far too sick right now to put her recent items up for sale there. All of these were completed before she took her latest turn for the worst the day after her birthday on the 19th. Since she is so sick right now she asked me to mention them on here and see if there was any interest. Quantities are limited and are being sold on a first come first sold basis.

First up on the showcase (waves one arm to gesture at the below item) we have a maroon lap quilt. This small one measures 35x42 features six internal squares surrounded by a maroon border. It is being sold for $45 (includes $8.00 non-priority shipping by way of the post office).

Next up we have a slightly smaller lap quilt in light blue. This one measures 29x42. It features the same six square pattern Sandi uses in these along with a light blue border.  It is being sold for $45 (includes $8.00 non-priority shipping by way of the post office).

If you like the light blue border, but want more blue in the lap quilt this one might work for you.  Sandi refers to this one as her “double blue” lap quilt. It measures 32 x 46 making it slightly larger than the preceding ones. It features six squares internally in the lap quilt surrounded by the light blue border. It is being sold for $45 (includes $8.00 non-priority shipping by way of the post office).

Maybe you want to go bigger than that? Sandi has a couple that just might work for you. First up is this one that measures 43 x56. It features the usual six squares and border. In this case the dominant color is brown and used in the center of the squares as well as the border along with an off white.  Due to the larger size it is being sold for $50 (includes $9.00 non-priority shipping by way of the post office).

SOLD!

She also has available this one that features green with a double maroon border. It measures 44 x 44 and contains the normal six squares. It is $50 (includes $9 non-priority shipping by way of the post office).
Sandi also has some walker caddies available. Like her chemo hats, these are a huge hit in the doctor’s office when she donates them as one can put a book, reading glasses, cell phone, etc. in the small pockets of the caddy. The loops at the top of the caddy go over a bar in the walker and are held closed by a button.  They sell for $10 and that includes the same basic shipping at $4.00 by way of  the post office.  She has them currently available in purple and “winter colors.”
SOLD!!!

Hopefully you see something you like in these. Thank You

Because of your generosity again this past month our rent is paid. If it wasn't for you, we would be out of here as they do pull the eviction trigger very quick.

Thank you on behalf of all of us.
