Batman and The Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles 3 by James Tynion IV and numerous artists is the concluding graphic
novel of the series. After the tragic death of his parents, Bruce Wayne was
taken in by Splinter and raised alongside his four brothers Michelangelo,
Raphael, Leonardo, and Donatello. Bruce Wayne dons the guise of Batman to fight
crime alongside his turtle brothers.
Wait … what?
That is not how that works as it does not fit the canon or the revised canon. The
space alien named Krang has merged the universes as he plans to take over the
multiverse. If Batman and the Turtles do not undo the damage to the multiverse,
this massive and horrible merger could become permanent. To stop it, Batman and
the Ninja Turtles must fight alongside Shredder. They must first defeat the
Smile Clan which is a ninja group led by the changed Joker.
This is the
final of a three-installment series and this book is supposed to end this
series. There is plenty of action, humor, and interesting things going on in
this offshoot story. While Batman and The Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles 3
is the weakest book in the trilogy, it is a still a good book. One should read
the series in order.
My reading copy came from my home branch, Lochwood, of the Dallas Public Library System.
