Short Story Review: "Dying To Live" by Gregory Stenson

Hannah is absolutely devastated over the latest loss in her life. She seeks solace and advice from a friend named Jacob. Unfortunately for Jacob the innocent hug between Jacob and the beautiful blonde at the mall was witnessed by his wife of two years, Naomi. Naomi quickly thinks the worst. Before long she confronts her husband whom she believes is having an affair.

Events play out in the expected way which ultimately results in a story that considers  the possibility of an afterlife as well as a return to mortal form. Hence the cover teaser---“A modern tale of mistrust & jealousy with a tragic ending--or not?”

Told in three parts the story is an interesting piece despite the clichéd premise. A story that holds reader interest despite the fact the work is very much in serious need of a good editor. There are numerous comma issues, numerous run on sentences, cases of awkward sentence construction and other editorial problems throughout the entire work. Those issues negatively impact the read.
