New Arrivals By Mail

Good Sunday morning to you. I should be working on some of my own fiction while I can as I am the only one up and now on my second mug of tea. Instead, once again, I am writing about other folks books.

The week that was in new arrivals by mail.....

I have read the earlier QUINN HIGGINS BOY DETECTIVE series books for kids by Douglas Quinn and really liked them. Looking forward to reading this one as well as THE MIDNIGHT SKULKER. That book is part of a separate series that I am not familiar with at all.
 
Something else that I have no clue about was this arrival......

though I am intrigued by the copy of the book jacket.

So, between these and the library stuff it has been another good week for other folks books.  Mount TBR grew a bit more and I got further behind.

I also heard back from two different markets that they were not looking to add new reviewers at this time but would keep me in mind. After 12 plus years of reviewing books one would think I could get a paying gig with somebody. Apparently not.

It has been suggested to me by several folks that I should bundle all my reviews, along with some advice about reviews and reviewers, into some sort of e-book and sell it. I can't imagine anyone would want to buy that. But, considering some of the queries I get, I guess anything is possible.
