I love the library.
Some folks love to go antiquing, movies, the beach or whatever, but I love the library. I used to spend hours roaming the stacks and poking around. Even back when I was working for PISD, once my workday was officially ended, you could often find me roaming the stacks of the library at whatever school I was working at. My tendencies became so well known everyone knew if my distinctive car was still in the lot, I was in the building and at the library.
Not only do I not have a job but these days it is a huge and painful chore to go to the library because of my mobility issues. So, I do what I can from home using the library catalog. Sometimes I go taking Karl or Scott with me so they can pick up stuff from the hold shelves. I need the help as I can't carry anything on my own anymore with the cane and my balance issues. Other times, now that Sandi is cleared to drive again, she takes one of the boys and gets the requested stuff for me.
I am currently reading FORCE OF NATURE by CJ Box and have AS THE CROW FLIES by Craig Johnson sitting here so it figures these books that I have so been looking forward to would also appear....
as well as these that I will use for future columns in the Senior News Newspaper.
The library is a wonderful magical place. Check it out!

Nice bunch. I've seen a great review on Atkins' Spenser novel. May have to give it a try.
I have heard it is good one. I figure to give it a try as well.
Love your plug for the public library, Kevin. Thank you!
Love the libraries, Lesa.
