Interesting Reading Elswhere--Patrick Ohl

Having just put up the Agatha Award list a little while ago, I came across this piece from Patrick Ohl posted today at his blog At The Scene Of The Crime. I have not read any of the books that he mentions in his piece, but I did find it very interesting. To say that he is not pleased with the award nominees lately would be an understatement. You really do need to read today's post "Apathy. Sheer Bloody Apathy."

Comments and recommendations most welcome.

And one of mine that got buried long ago.

Kevin, thank you for giving my article a plug on your blog. This was something I've been thinking of writing for a while, and it's gratifying to see such an overwhelming number of responses! Since posting that piece, I've gotten almost 1000 views on the blog, many of them directed at the article. Some people have agreed, some have disagreed, but either way the discussion has been an interesting one.

It clearly did stir up opinions, Patrick. Thought the piece was interesting as were the reactions.
