We used to have those in Ohio, but the process was so ineptly run, expensive, and with some apparent corruption--such as repairs needed that weren't to meet specifications, and so unpopular that the politicians ended them.
I absolutely hate it. It really grinds my nerves because they do nothing about the Dallas Area Rapid Transit buses that belch thick clouds of black smoke into the air or the many 18 wheelers that do the same.
