Geology Time ......Again

Back in the early 80s I was a student assistant in the admissions office at Richland Junior College in the DCCCD. Not only did I meet my future wife there, but I started figuring out that trying to pass accounting classes was an exercise of utter futility. One of the classes I did very well in was geology.

I did pretty well even though it was at the ungodly hour of 8 am three mornings a week. The professor's name escapes me at the moment, but I do remember how much he loved trilobites. He also didn't think I was particularly funny when I told him that trilobites came from tribbles attached to alien spacecraft that crash landed on Earth and gave us a galactic lie known as evolution.

He took trilobites very seriously. He probably would think this recent piece of Tricrepicephalus (trilobites) was not serious enough and tell me to do it over. Fortunately, unlike a lot of freelance writing gigs I have had over the years, a little bit of my warped personality is okay.

Your former professor probably wouldn't smile at the listing you created...but maybe he mellowed over time.

He was a very cool dude, but I don't think he would have been amused. I also wish I had taken his thoughts in and out of the classroom more seriously, but I was at that very stupid age where I thought I knew some things.
