I have written here before a lot about Sandi's cancer and her ongoing battle for life. I did it because I felt it was the right thing to do when I was asking for your much needed donations. I also did it because I am a writer. It was a small way of coping just a little bit with our nightmare.
Stuart Scott of ESPN has his own ongoing battle against cancer. A battle that recently became public news. In a very moving piece titled "Stuart Scott’s Story of Perseverance"
