Sandi seems to be stabilizing a bit. She has been fever free for almost 24 hours, and her kidney function and other things seem to be improving. The dry heaves stopped late yesterday evening as well as did the migraine like headaches. She still sounds horrible from the coughing angle and is still
having quite a bit of congestion. They gave her a bag of platelets as well as two units of blood today, plus the IV antibiotics, and several bags of fluids. She reports she feels better and may try to sit up for a little while this evening and crochet. If she can start doing that again you know everything is okay.
So, hopefully, things have turned on our latest crisis and things will get better. Thank you all for your thoughts and prayers and everything. Please know it is very much appreciated.

Really glad to hear this. I hope she's turned the corner and that things will get steadily better now.
As I've said to both you and Sandi, she is one tough woman.
